  2. 4-7-8 Breathing:

    • Inhale slowly through your nose for a count of four.
    • Hold your breath for a count of seven.
    • Exhale slowly through your mouth for a count of eight.
    • Repeat this cycle four times.  
  3. Alternate Nostril Breathing:

    • Close your right nostril with your right thumb.
    • Inhale deeply through your left nostril.
    • Close your left nostril with your ring finger and exhale through your right nostril.
    • Inhale through your right nostril and exhale through your left. 
    • Continue this cycle for several minutes.
